The T900™ requires a 20 amp dedicated circuit, commonplace in emergency and operationg room environments. Since there is no convection plate or water bath to keep warm; no power is used in standby mode. When immediate warming is required at high flow rates, the unit raises the temperature of the infused fluid to 40°C in 5 seconds. To obtain these immediate results, a large amount of power is needed. Operating at the maximum flow rate with the built–in compressor running, the device pulls 17 amps; the maximum usage for a 20 amp circuit.
